28 to 32 weeks is perfect for most moms to be. This is a time frame where your beautiful belly is of ample size yet you’re not as “puffy” and uncomfortable as you may be in your last 4 to 6 weeks. Though we have shot maternity sessions up close to delivery with beautiful results.
*Gather your shoes and other accessories you will bring with to the shoot.
*Get a manicure and a pedicure a day or two in advance. Do face mask daily for a few days before the session will add glow to your skin.
*Go through our site and save poses/ideas you may have for your session.
Yes. Our studio provides a full wardrobe that includes an exquisite selection of beautiful sheer silks and other fabrics for draping as well as stunning gowns and lace robes. You are welcome to also bring dresses you may like.
You can also bring lingerie and statement jewelry.
We recommend that you bring Maternity Shape wear in nude for under our gowns. These can be found on Amazon.
Absolutely! The father of your child is welcome and encouraged to join. We invite them to join you towards the latter part of your session.
In-studio maternity sessions are done with professional lighting equipment so the time of the day does not matter.
Outdoor (park, beach session) is scheduled to start 2 hours before sunset time. Sessions with children is best scheduled at times when the kids will be most happy and energetic. Avoid nap and meal time.
Not at all. All of my maternity sessions are customized and tailored to the wants and needs of each client. Some clients prefer clean and simple artistic nude photographs and wraps, while others prefer to wear less revealing outfits or to be fully clothed.
I fully guide you throughout your session, posing you, adjusting your hair, helping with outfits and making sure you feel comfortable and relaxed.
Yes. You can pick your favorite lighting/backdrop set ups and poses from my portfolio and you are welcome to bring your own ideas as well.
Your maternity images will not be used in any way without your written permission. We never require you to let us share your photos.
